 Can you describe your instant messaging software (its story, its quality, its default,..) ?

 The driving force behind the creation of Odigo was the realization that no reliable, real-time communication and information-collecting application existed on the Web. In Israel, a group of Internet enthusiasts collaborated on a way to provide users with the ability to see and instantly communicate with others surfing the same sites, as well as find the most popular sites at any given time during their surf sessions.  How do you explain the success of Instant Messengers? Why should someone pick Odigo over the others ?

 What is, for you, the perfect instant messeging software?

 The perfect IM is forever evolving, as communication technologies are on the move - so are the challenges and solutions.
At Odigo, we keep not only the end-user in mind - meaning the "average end-user" varies per nation, gender, age, access to technology, technological and commercial needs and more, but we also take one a global and futurist perspective.
We want to ensure that all of the Internet community can take advantage of our technology - if they are behind firewalls, using dial-up modems or T1 lines, typing in Chinese, Japanese or Russian, or if the are using our technology or one of our competitors. Odigo's goal, as any IM or communication tool's goal should be is to facilitate communication and interactions between users .

So I guess, the perfect IM for me is one which I can communicate and transact easily and effectively with others.

 How do you imagine the future of instant messaging ?

 Wow, that is like asking Alexander Graham Bell how he might have imagined the future of phone communication!
In the short run, I believe tools like Odigo will become more and more important to the communications market. That means, that being just an IM wont be enough, Odigo offers the user a community to communicate with, tools which they can search for old friends and new ones, navigation tools to cut through the excess information and noise that clutters the web and provides a conduit for targeted content and e-commerce.

In essence, I believe that the future is about more than communication tools, it is about presence management - on or off-line. Currently, Odigo can let the user know who from his or her community and/or friends are on-line and provide access to those users, soon enough we will be extending those capabilities to off-line technologies. So if you want, you can be "connected", in other words accessible to your friends and community even if you are actually off-line.

 Future Developments planned for Odigo ?

 Actually, we also look to users for what the future will hold for Odigo. Our users are a vocal bunch telling us what they like and don't, as well as what they want and we work hard to ensure our developments are responsive to our communities feedback.
